Certified Trainers are at the heart of the WISWE global education ecosystem. They are independent educators who have completed our online appreciation courses and our Train‑the‑Trainer program, and are authorised to deliver official WISWE workshops in their region. These trainers help expand access to sensory education, cultural appreciation, and experiential learning across the world.
WISWE Certified Trainers deliver short, high‑impact workshops that introduce learners to the foundations of spirits, wine, sensory science, and flavour appreciation. Many also offer specialised sessions in leadership, communication, team building, and creative problem‑solving, using sensory experiences as a powerful learning tool.
What Certified Trainers Are Authorised to Do
Certified Trainers may:
- Deliver official 2‑hour WISWE workshops in approved settings
- Facilitate sensory education experiences using spirits, wine, tea, spices, and aroma kits
- Represent WISWE at events, tastings, and community activities
- Guide learners into WISWE online courses (earning commission on enrolments)
- Offer themed workshops for corporate groups, hospitality teams, and private events
- Sell approved WISWE tasting kits and educational tools
This model allows trainers to operate as flexible micro‑entrepreneurs with multiple income streams.

- Represent themselves as employees of WISWE
- Create their own versions of WISWE courses or kits
- Breach any laws or act dishonestly or disrespectfully whilst acting as a Certified Trainer

How Certified Trainers Earn
WISWE Certified Trainers operate as independent micro‑businesses with multiple income streams.
1. Trainers Keep 100% of Workshop Fees
Trainers set their own workshop prices and keep all revenue from ticket sales.
There are no per‑workshop fees and no revenue sharing with WISWE.
2. Small Monthly Subscription
A low monthly fee gives trainers access to:
- Workshop slide decks and training material
- Facilitator guides
- Marketing materials
- Updated sensory tools
- Trainer support and community resources
3. 25% Commission on Online Courses
Every workshop becomes a pathway into WISWE’s online courses.
Trainers earn 25% commission on every online course enrolment generated through their workshops.
Earning Example (Course Fees $99–$149)
A realistic example for a trainer working under 10 hours per week:
Workshop Income
- 3 workshops per week
- 10 participants per workshop
- $65 per person
Workshop revenue:
3 × 10 × $65 = $1,950 per week
Online Course Commission (25%)
Assuming 2 participants per workshop enrol in an online course:
- 6 enrolments per week
- Course fees range from $99 to $149
Low‑end ($99):
6 × $99 × 0.25 = $148.50
Mid‑range ($125):
6 × $125 × 0.25 = $187.50
High‑end ($149):
6 × $149 × 0.25 = $223.50
Total Weekly Earnings
- Low‑end: $1,950 + $148.50 = $2,098.50
- Mid‑range: $1,950 + $187.50 = $2,137.50
- High‑end: $1,950 + $223.50 = $2,173.50
A typical Certified Trainer delivering three workshops per week can earn around $2,000 combining workshop fees and online course commissions — all in under 10 hours of flexible, enjoyable work.
